1. Who is responsible
Clash of Meat is operated by Gx2 Studio SAS (RCS Paris 954 090 536), based in Paris, France, which is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact us at contact@gx2.studio.
To be completed: registered office address
This policy covers this website, the game at app.clashofmeat.com and the Clash of Meat companion you install for your coding agents.
2. Data we process
- Account. When you sign in with GitHub: your GitHub identifier, username, email address and avatar.
- X account, if you link one. Your X identifier, username, display name and profile picture. We use them only to verify the account and show it on your profile, profile card, guild and leaderboards. We never post on your behalf and never read your posts, timeline, messages or followers.
- Game data. Your profile, username history, social links, heroes, guild activity, friends, duels, rewards, balances and leaderboard results.
- Coding activity, numbers only. From the agents you connect: token counts, usage limits, model names, timestamps and session identifiers. Your prompts, code, file names and conversations never leave your computer.
- Payments. For sponsor runes, which are sold to businesses: the company or brand name, website and logo you submit (public while your rune is displayed), the billing name, address and tax ID on the invoice, the amount and the Stripe payment, invoice, refund and credit note references. Tips are paid on Stripe's hosted page and are not linked to your account. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Technical records. Logs and security data needed to authenticate requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and keep the service reliable.
This website itself has no account, form, analytics or advertising. Its host processes IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect it.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the game you sign up for (performance of our agreement): accounts, gameplay, public profiles and leaderboards, social features, rewards, support and data exports.
- To keep the service safe (legitimate interest): fraud and abuse prevention, security and reliability.
- To meet legal obligations: tax, accounting and consumer-protection records for payments.
4. Who processes it for us
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) hosts the game, its database and its file storage.
- Cloudflare, Inc. delivers this website and protects network traffic.
- Stripe processes payments and refunds.
- GitHub provides sign-in, and X provides account verification when you link it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and game data while your account is active. When you delete your account in Settings, it is hidden and blocked immediately, and you can restore it for 30 days by signing in with the same GitHub account. After that, account and game data is permanently deleted.
Payment records we must keep for tax, accounting or dispute reasons are retained for the period the law requires and kept apart from your public profile.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. The game uses only what it needs to work: authentication and security cookies that keep you signed in and protect requests, and short-lived browser storage that resumes an interrupted action such as returning from sign-in or payment. We use no advertising or analytics trackers, so no consent banner is shown. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to receive it in a portable format; Settings in the game also offers an immediate JSON download. Write to contact@gx2.studio. You can also complain to your data-protection authority; in France, the CNIL.
8. Changes
We update this policy when Clash of Meat or the law changes, and announce material changes in the game or by another appropriate channel.
